Thanksgiving Turkey Recipe — Cider and Orange Turkey Brine [Recipe]

If you’ve been lucky this fall turkey season to get your own tom, you’re probably wondering how you should cook it.  Here is an excellent turkey brining recipe I use that will tame even the toughest tom.  It’s also great for farm raised, fresh, and organic turkeys which aren’t pre-brined. I suspect it will even work on conventionally-raised birds, but given the salt content of their brine (most conventionally-raised birds are brined at the factory), it might make them a little too salty.  Check it out, now.
