Grizzly Bears Recover to Huntable Population Levels

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced they have removed Yellowstone region grizzly bears from the endangered species list.  This clears the way for Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho to manage the species with federal oversight.  While those three states have hunting plans in place, numerous court challenges loom in the immediate future and it is doubtful grizzly hunts will occur anytime soon.
