Lone Judge Puts Permanent Halt on Grizzly Hunt (Breaking News)

On September 24th, 2018, Federal Judge Dana Christensen ordered the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to reverse its decision to remove grizzly bears in the Yellowstone ecosystem from “Threatened” status, and put a permanent stop to planned, limited hunts in Wyoming and Idaho.  Christensen ignored decades-long research by numerous Federal and state agencies to side with emotional, and often unscientific, claims made by extremist animal rights and environmental groups.

At the moment, there is no word from the USFWS if the agency will appeal the decision.
